Peakhurst has been doing the ‘Search’ program with online resources provided by the Augustine Institute in the US. We had 40-day participants and 36-night participants commence the course. The participants vary from committed parishioners to those currently not attending any church. Each session consists of us sharing a meal together for half an hour, or in the case of the day group it’s morning tea, followed by a half-hour video from the Search program, and then we break into discussion groups to share our reflections on the video content. The themes of the weekly sessions have varied so far from ‘What makes you happy?’ to ‘Science versus faith’. The feedback has been really encouraging.
