This is a picture that Aunty Agnes painted at Nungalinya College. Aunty Agnes is from the Dailey

River Area. It was painted at a retreat at Nungalinya College 2009. It was a faith and art afternoon. Aunty Agnes gave the painting to St Martin De Porres for ministry at the Don Dale Youth prison and the hospitals. It is a healing and reconciliation painting. We are so grateful to Aunty Agnes for this beautiful painting. Fr Dan Benedetti MGL

The Story behind the painting | Darwin Prison Ministry:

"There are termite mounds in between Adelaide River and Dailey River. The termite mound has three heads on it. Aunty Agnes sensed God say "That is the Holy Family" Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Together like a strong family - a strong termite mound. At the bottom of the painting there are families coming together. Families wanted to be a part of that strong holy family and that gift of family life that can be lost and damaged. Looking upwards from the strong family are all the prayers going up to heaven and all the power moving downwards from heaven. We can be part of this strong family too, we can receive the power that comes down."
