Fr Chris Eaton has recently been installed as the parish priest of St Benedict’s Narrabundah by Archbishop Christopher Prowse on the 13 July. This is Fr Chris’ first appointment as a parish priest after his time as a formator in the MGL Initial Formation House in Canberra. The night of the installation was a graced-filled moment for Fr Chris who said that he felt changed by the experience and has received a new sense of hope and energy in this new role.
He is looking forward to this opportunity to lead and build community, in a way where people feel empowered in their gifts. He hopes that parishioners will feel a strong sense of belonging and ownership of the mission.
