On 16th to 19th January, the Arete program for the year began at Mt Carmel Retreat Centre in Varroville with an intensive focussing on the proclamation of the kerygma. Fr Ken gave a series of five talks, demonstrating the power of the fundamental gospel message. Fr Chris Ryan, the director of Arete, followed up with inspiring talks on discipleship. Over 60 people attended the program in person, and another 15 or so participated online.
